Our most recent project showcases a new Jones the Grocer Express in the bustling hub of Uptown DMCC. This venture marks a significant milestone in our relationship with a brand that harmoniously blends tradition with modernity, promising an unforgettable customer experience.
Embarking on this journey, our aim was to encapsulate the essence of ‘Express’ — a concept representing speed and accessibility — within the Jones the Grocer design. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s rich Australian lineage, we sought to elevate the already revered brand without overshadowing its intrinsic appeal.
A hallmark of this Jones the Grocer is the ingenious lighting scheme, a homage to the vibrant streets of Sydney and Melbourne. We crafted a fresh signage package that resonates with the contemporary blade signs found in shopping arcades across these iconic cities.
Adding a whimsical touch to the design, we introduced a striking arrow lighting feature onto a column, creating a ‘Mario Kart’ boost pad effect. This element not only adds a dash of fun but adeptly transforms a potential obstacle into a focal point of creativity and amusement.
The geometry infused in the space, especially evident in the meticulously chosen floor and border tiles, coupled with unique lighting elements, conjures an inner-city vibe. This Jones the Grocer design is carefully crafted to fit seamlessly into central business districts worldwide, offering a fresh yet grounded ambiance reminiscent of any global metropolis.
