FINCH deliver a new identity for Jones Social in Business Bay, Dubai.
We’re excited to announce that Jones Social, designed by FINCH, has officially opened its doors in Business Bay, Dubai. Located within the Embassy Suites by Hilton, this vibrant restaurant and bar represents a bold new chapter for the Jones brand — a standalone concept with its own distinct personality.
Unlike its sister brand Jones the Grocer, Jones Social was envisioned as an independent destination. The design celebrates connection, creativity, and energy, a space where guests can enjoy everything from casual daytime dining to sophisticated dinners and late-night DJ sets.
The Role of Artwork
A key highlight was our collaboration with local artist Jen Stelco, who created original, hand-painted artworks directly onto the restaurant walls. These bespoke pieces set the tone for a bold and creative atmosphere that feels unique to Dubai. Lighting was another crucial element, designed in partnership with specialist consultants to ensure the venue evolves seamlessly: lively by day, moody and intimate by evening, and energetic late into the night.
At the centre of it all is a striking bespoke bar, anchoring the venue and defining the flow between its three natural zones: relaxed dining, high-energy central bar, and the late-night social area.
For FINCH, this project represents more than just another opening. It marks our 19th collaboration with Jones the Grocer and our first opportunity to shape the new Jones Social brand. With over 14 years of experience designing restaurants, bars, cafés, and hospitality venues across Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Europe and East Africa, we’ve developed a reputation for creating spaces that balance operational functionality with memorable customer experiences.
