Ems once again comes runner up for Interior Designer of the Year
Don’t get too excited, the rest of the title should read, runner up! But hey we’re still pretty stoked that Emma has been named runner-up as interior designer of the year at the Design Middle East Awards. In other news, Kristian was also named as runner-up for CEO of the year, its not a bad little haul for the night.
About Emma
Ems is a UK national and she heads the creative design team at Studio EM.
Born in Dubai and has lived in Dubai her entire life. As such she has a unique insight into the requirements of the local market.
Ems graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA Hons Degree in Interior Architecture & Design. She now has 16 years experience as an interior architect within The MENA region.
Together with her partner Kristian, Emma established and founded FINCH in May 2011. Emma oversees the Creative Design of all of the projects that come into the office.
Once again nominated as Middle East Young Designer of The Year in 2009, 2012 and 2013. In addition, she was recently regarded by leading industry resource, Commercial Interior Design Magazine as the 7th most influential designer in the Middle East in 2012 through to 2021. During 2019 and 2020 she was nominated and shortlisted for Interior Designer of the Year by Commercial Interior Design Magazine as well as Design Middle East. In 2020 she was named runner-up as interior designer of the year by Design Middle East.
