Verda Restaurant is a fine-dining establishment located in Khobar, KSA that offers a modern take on North American contemporary cuisine. In 2022, our team had the honor of being approached to design this new culinary concept in Saudi Arabia. Our client’s objective was to revolutionize the modern North American dining scene in the region, escaping the trendy lower level fast casual scene that this genre is used to.

The client required a statement design to achieve this feat. The paramount goal was to create something truly unique, with a profound “wow” factor at the heart of the design. Verda Restaurant is a destination of choice for food enthusiasts seeking a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant’s interior design fuses traditional and contemporary elements to craft a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our expert design team carefully curated the space to showcase the restaurant’s commitment to quality food, drink, and design without overloading the customer’s senses.

The piece de resistance of Verda’s interior design is the awe-inspiring light feature, masterfully crafted by the FINCH team. The architectural detail elegantly wraps around the entire restaurant, enveloping it with a gorgeous, exceptional, and sophisticated embrace. The use of natural materials is another defining feature of the restaurant’s design. These elements imbue the space with refinement and authenticity, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. In particular, the prominent use of solid wood is a nod to the restaurant’s traditional roots and evokes a sense of history and heritage.

The restaurant’s color scheme is carefully curated to create a sense of calm and serenity, with a neutral palette of earthy tones. The artwork adorning the walls adds a subtle energy to the space, complementing the warm lighting and comfortable seating. Verda Restaurant is the ideal place to unwind and savor the best of contemporary American cuisine.

For our team, the paramount design element was to avoid the cliche and steer clear of Americana or any other elements that could pigeonhole this concept. Our aim was to create an experience that exceeds the expectations of the customers, allowing them to walk in and encounter something entirely new and unexpected. Verda Restaurant subverts the conventional North American design concept, challenging the notion that burgers, steak, ribs, and clam chowder cannot be elegant and refined.
