Wagamama Mirdif Interior Design, Mirdif City Center

We’re delighted to present the new Wagamama Mirdif Interior Design project from FINCH.  The new Wagamama interior design project in Mirdif City Center is our 14th collaboration with the global brand is a standout favourite of the team. This new design incorporates many new elements for the brand and shows the evolution of the brand’s design from our previous stores. 

The design incorporates some really cool new items. Items that are based on the locale of the project, with the highlight being the thousand chopstick map of the UAE. The team created this wicked idea as a really awesome art piece for the restaurant’s interior design. We took the famous chopsticks for Wagamama, created a 3D map of the UAE, and placed the Wagamama star on the map locations of our stores across the seven Emirates.

In addition to this cool feature, we retained lots of elements from our previous stores that are synonymous with the brand. Such as the use of bricks, butcher blocks, brass lighting features the local lighting “woks up” feature. However, the new elements that really give the design some pop, compliment these staples.  Lighting played a crucial role in lifting the design, with the quirky “drinking the ramen bowl” feature being a highlight. In addition, the “tatami mat” lighting feature pays homage to the brands Japanese heritage. The lighting pops and bounces off the surfaces with a personal favourite feature being the copper shale mesh ceiling feature.  Whilst the design packs a punch and has a lot of really cool elements, we’ve still retained that Asian minimalist vibe that Wagamama is so well known for.  The Wagamama MIrdif interior design is vastly becoming a new favourite of our catalogue of stores for this global brand and we can’t wait to see how we can push the interior design for Wagamama even further with upcoming new store locations.
